Breastfeeding

Why am I so passionate about breastfeeding?  Well, I am amazed at how God created our bodies to bear and feed our babies.  The more I learn about breast milk and breastfeeding in general, the more amazed I am.  I certainly do not want to put moms down for using formula.  I've had to use it.  It is definitely a viable feeding option.  I'm not a "Lactavist" who believes that formula is poison.  I definitely feel that breast milk is best as science has proven, but I will not put down another mom for how she chooses to feed her babies.  I have been criticized  no matter how I have fed my son: nursing, formula feeding, bottle feeding breast milk - someone always has something negative to say.  It's time to stop tearing each other down as moms and it's time to support each other in this difficult job called motherhood.
