Haiti: What Are You Doing?

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I also don't want anyone to forget as the TV coverage grows less.  Haiti is still experiencing aftershocks.  Their already unstable structures and rubble piles are continuing to be stressed and shifted.  The search for survivors has officially been called off even though survivors were still being found.  Mass graves are being dug and filled.

I have a challenge for you all.  I challenge you to do SOMETHING.  If you need ideas, see the posts I have linked to on the top right of this blog.  Do SOMETHING and come here and let us know in a comment.  Let's encourage each other.

What are we doing?  First of all we are praying fervently.  Our God is awesome and can do ANYTHING.  Prayer is by far the most important thing we can do.  Secondly, we are saving to purchase a wheelchair for someone who has lost a limb.  We have very finite resources but definitely feel lead to take this route.  Thirdly, we are spreading the word as much as we can.  I have donated Swagbucks for monetary aid donations.  I have linked my blog to other blogs who have committed to donate a certain amount per link.  Every little bit helps.

One more idea - Music for Relief.  You can listen to these awesome tracks online for free or download to donate.  From the website:
Linkin Park, Dave Matthews Band, Peter Gabriel, Alanis Morissette, Slash, The All-American Rejects, Hoobastank, Kenna, Enrique Iglesias and Lupe Fiasco team up with Music For Relief to aid earthquake victims.  In partnership with the UN Foundation?s Central Emergency Response Fund, Habitat for Humanity and Dave Matthews Band's BAMA Works Haitian relief effort, Music for Relief is working to provide immediate aid with food, water, and emergency medical supplies, and long-term sustainable housing solutions for the people affected by this catastrophic natural disaster.

What are you doing for Haiti?  Please let us know in the comments!
