Free Wheelchair Mission - Athalia's Story

So, speaking of the Free Wheelchair Mission, (if you are completely lost, I posted about it in my Dream post yesterday) I have a story for you.  I am reposting from the Free Wheelchair Mission Facebook page (with permission).

As you watch this, imagine how Athalia's life would be different without her wheelchair.  Could she go to school?  Could she leave her home? Could you imagine being carried everywhere?  Can you imagine the independence Athalia is feeling now that she can get around with much less assistance?

Athalia is 19 years old and travels 3 kilometers to school every day in South Africa. Her teacher Grace shares a slice of a normal day at her incredible school

Do you want to help people like Athalia?  I sure do.  I am participating in the World's Largest Potluck to raise money for the Free Wheelchair Mission.  I want to help raise people off the ground.  My personal goal is to raise enough for three wheelchairs.  That's just $177.60.  Under $200 to radically change the lives of THREE people.

Do you want to help?  Donate.  Even just $1.  Be a part of something bigger than yourself.  Lift someone off the ground.  I have a secure donation page set up.  I never see a penny of the donations.  They go STRAIGHT to the Free Wheelchair Mission.

Donate.  Pass this message along to your friends.  Click here to donate.

If you can't donate, share this post with friends.  Also, you can help the Free Wheelchair Mission win $10,000 with just a click - you don't even need to enter your email.  You can click once per computer per day.

Want to learn more about the Free Wheelchair Mission?  Click on the tab at the top of the page for more information.

Let's make a big change in our world.  Give people dignity.  Lift them from the ground.
