May We Never Forget

There will be no Saturday Throwback this week.  It is time to remember and honor those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.

I made a comment on Facebook a few weeks ago as the images and videos of the tragedy began being shown on tv.  I commented that it is still hard to view those images.  A friend kindly replied, "And it always will be.  It's how it is supposed to be."  She's right.



Let's not become numb.  Take some time to grieve. Watch this video and say a prayer.  Don't run away from the pain.  Remember how this tragedy united the nation.

Let's not become involved in the bashing of others.  Not every Muslim was involved.  Let God do the judging.  Hate does nothing.  Love makes a difference. Love changes the world.

Let's redeem the day.  Become a hero to someone else.  I am attending what we hope will be the World's Largest Potluck to raise money for the Free Wheelchair mission.  If we break the world record then we will raise over 600 people off the ground and change their lives and give them dignity.  Want to be a part? Do something. Give something.  Change the world for the better today.  Never forget.
