Saturday Throwback: Dance Performance

Welcome to Saturday Throwback!  Feel free to link up an old picture and story - just keep it clean!

I am amazed at this picture.  Growing up, I thought nothing of moments like these.  Just the family, out for the day.  Upon closer inspection - this is quite amazing.  There are four generations in this picture.  Nana was my great grandmother. I was blessed to know her for much of my childhood years - up until high school.  Gma (grandma, but I always wrote it as gma) and Pap - my mom's parents.  My mom.  My little brother.  My younger cousin.  I'm not pictured.  I'm one of the little ballerinas the family came to watch.  My dad is holding the camera.

We were all so close.  We spent countless hours together.  We were so blessed. Not many people have pictures of this many generations together.  This many generations interacting and enjoying each other. Now the picture would look a bit different.  My parents have taken on the grandparent role. My brother is no longer quite so little.  Neither is my cousin (and she's not my only cousin).  My husband would probably leave camera duty to me.  I can totally see Buggy dancing his heart out, though his style is not even vaguely reminiscent of ballet - more like marching/bouncing/waving/spinning.

How many generations do you have in photos? Tell me in the comments!
