Saturday Throwback: Colorado Mountain Top

Last week I shared a photo from my "rock star" days.  This photo is from a similar time period.  As a band, we would go on tour twice a year.  This year, we took 2 weeks in the summer to cross the country.  We stayed in Colorado for several days.  We were with another band as well and it seemed like nobody wanted to do anything but sleep (understandable after the massive amounts of driving we were doing), but the four of us wanted to see some of the sights while we were out and about.  We decided to go for a hike.  I remember being warned about a bear that had been spotted.  I remember one of us making a phone call from the top and how we were surprised at how fantastic the signal was from the top of the mountain.  In case you couldn't tell, I'm the one in the yellow. 

What a great way to get out and enjoy God's beauty!
